Why you should vote NO against Irving’s expensive Prop. A and its inevitable tax increase.

Voting Yes for Proposition A’s California-style collective bargaining would not only send our tax dollars up in smoke but also mean big government union leaders would be allowed to burn through our limited city budget to enrich their friends and high-priced lawyers.

The fact is that in every city that has ever approved collective bargaining for firefighters – something many local firefighters strongly oppose – taxpayers are hit with higher costs and neighborhoods see a decline in public safety services. The only people to benefit from collective bargaining are government union operatives and their high-priced lawyers.

Government union leaders think our tax dollars grow on trees

When you look beyond this fantasy, the reality is higher taxes and fewer firefighters to protect our families, schools, and businesses.
